"¡Sí Se Puede!"

Since 2002, the College Assistance Migrant Program at New Mexico State University has served the post-secondary educational needs of migrant and seasonal farmworkers, dairyworkers, and ranchworkers from across New Mexico and far West Texas. We are truly pleased to continue honoring our NMSU CAMP mission: to recruit, retain, and graduate farmworker students at NMSU.

As the College Assistance Migrant Program (CAMP) at New Mexico State University celebrated 20 years of service to students of migrant farmworker families, the program’s success is being recognized with a nearly $2.4 million grant from the U.S. Department of Education’s Office of Migrant Education to fund the program through 2027. The new round of funding begins July 1. In addition to federal funds, the program also receives support from the New Mexico state Legislature.
