"¡Sí Se Puede!"

"CAMP showed me something different. It taught me that there is also strength in using your mind, that success doesn’t have to mean breaking your back every day. It means believing in yourself, knowing your worth, and realizing that your future is something worth investing in. CAMP helped me understand that I didn’t need to prove my value through pain or exhaustion, but through perseverance, learning, and purpose."

"Through CAMP, I found a home. I found people who share my story, my culture, my goals, and my values. Knowing that CAMP was always there to support me gave me the strength I needed to push through everything college life threw at me."

- Daniel Gomez, Cohort 20, Bachelor's of Science in Civil Engineering

"Ever since I joined CAMP with the 17th cohort in 2018, I felt I had a place in the university. I had a feeling that I had a chance for success in this new environment called university. I knew right away that the CAMP staff were serious about students working hard to achieve success, and I experienced this every day. I thought this was the norm for many programs in the university, that maybe every student had a program like this where they could feel at home but I was wrong. I realized that not every student had the opportunity to build a support system from the get-go. And that not everyone had a personal peer mentor (COMPA) to guide them through their first-year. I’m grateful for the opportunity to be selected to be a part of the 17th cohort. And the leadership opportunities and conferences that I was able to travel to. Thanks to CAMP I was able to ride an airplane for the first time in my life. Frankly, this was a dream that I didn’t think I could ever accomplish."

- Daniel Grajeda, Cohort 17, Master's of Business Administration in Finance
