Event Overview
NMSU CAMP welcomed Cohort 25 students and their families during Student Orientation on August 15 and the Beginning-of-Year Retreat on August 17, 2026. These events marked the start of their CAMP journey and provided students with an opportunity to connect with their peers, meet CAMP staff, and learn about the resources and support available to them throughout their college experience.
Student Orientation included family and student activities, financial aid updates and the COMPAS/Compitas matching activity.
The Beginning-of-Year Retreat focused on team building, community building, goal setting, and preparing students for a successful academic year. Together, these events helped Cohort 25 build connections, strengthen their sense of belonging, and begin their NMSU CAMP experience as part of a supportive and connected CAMP family.
