Meet Jonah, one of our cohort 18 CAMP scholars and NMSU CAMP Student Council president for 2 years in a row (2020 and 2021). Jonah graduated from Hatch Valley High School and began pursuing a degree in Mechanical & Aerospace Engineering here at NMSU.
Jonah cherishes the leadership experience that he acquired through NMSU CAMP and points to “the opportunity to witness a plan coming into action that started from just an idea.” as one of his favorite things CAMP has provided. He plans to give back to the community by volunteering and sharing knowledge as he firmly believes “a lack of education is like a form of imprisonment” and points to the sole solution “free yourself.”
