Event Overview
There are approximately 2.9 million agricultural workers in the United States, and from March 25 to March 31, 2023, the NMSU CAMP (College Assistance Migrant Program) hosted a Farmworker Awareness Week to raise awareness about the challenges and contributions of these workers. The week included various events, such as a Long-Sleeve Shirt Drive from March 25 to 31, to provide clothing protection to farmworkers, and a Blood Drive on March 31, where students could donate blood and help save lives.
