Event Overview
During the 2024 New Mexico Legislative Session, three NMSU CAMP students visited Santa Fe to shadow legislators representing their home districts. The experience offered students firsthand insight into the legislative process while giving them a chance to share their perspectives as both students and farmworkers. This initiative, coordinated in partnership with the NMSU Office of Government Relations, provides students with a platform to engage in policy conversations and represent the voices of their communities.
