Event Overview
NMSU CAMP takes a limited number of students to local, state and national conferences/trainings throughout the year. The HEP CAMP Student Leadership conference was established to offer students the chance to learn about the different leadership opportunities, educational paths, and personal experiences from several university and community members. The conference planning committee also felt that a critical component of leadership for our migrant students is cultural enrichment. With this in mind, the committee organized a self-guided tour of the Santa Fe Plaza for students to explore and enjoy the culture.
