Biography

My name is Jesus Lozano, and I am from Puerto Palomas, Chihuahua. I am a third-year student at New Mexico State University pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering with a specialty in power systems. I am passionate about renewable energy and modernizing the power grid to build a more efficient future. On campus, I serve as an officer for the Society of Hispanic Professional Engineers and work as a Living and Learning Community Leader for the CAMP program to support incoming students. In my free time, I like working out at the gym, listening to music, playing video games, playing chess, and collecting Hot Wheels cars and unique rocks. I am also currently learning 3D modeling and how to build DIY electronics projects with microcontrollers. Please feel free to stop by my office hours or say hello whenever you see me on campus!
