Biography

Desley Carrasco earned a double major in International Business and Spanish from New Mexico State University (NMSU). Raised in Meoqui, Chihuahua, she grew up in an agricultural family, where she developed foundational values of perseverance, responsibility, and collaboration. Currently, Desley works part-time as a Re-enrollment Advisor for the CAMP program at NMSU, supporting students who paused their studies to return and complete their degrees. Her academic and professional achievements include participating in the inaugural cohort of the HEP CAMP internship with the USDA Farm Service Agency (FSA), as well as studying abroad for a full semester at Kansai Gaidai University in Hirakata, Osaka, Japan. Looking ahead, Desley plans to pursue a Master’s degree in Accounting and aspires to work for a global company that allows her to travel abroad.
