Biography
Denisse Torres is a sophomore at New Mexico University studying a double major in Counselling and Community Psychology and Spanish. She is originally from Gomez Palacio, Durango. She graduated from Arrowhead Park Early College High School.Currently, she works with NMSU CAMP as an undergraduate research assistant, where she contributes essential support to migrant students, working to empower them to succeed.
In the future, Denisse aspires to focus on empowering undeserved communities by providing them with inclusive and culturally sensitive mental health care. Her ultimate goal is to empower underserved communities by guiding them to the necessary tools to succeed.
