Biography

Daniel Grajeda was born in Colorado, he moved to Ricardo Flores Magon, Chihuahua and lived there until the age of 14. He then moved to Las Cruces, where he attended Centennial High School. Upon graduation, Daniel decided to attend NMSU as a full-time student and joined the CAMP program as part of the 17th cohort. He worked in the medicinal plants internship and attended the USHLI conference on his first year. Daniel served as the vice president of the CAMP student council and worked as a mentor in the summer with the MEP program during his sophomore year.

During his junior and senior years, Daniel joined the CAMP student staff as peer mentor (COMPAs). Daniel graduated May 2022 with a double major in Finance, with a concentration in Risk Management and Insurance, and Spanish. He is a current member of the Gamma Iota Sigma (GIS) chapter in NMSU.

Daniel is a third year MBA (Finance) candidate. He is also working towards a graduate minor in communication studies and getting certified in N3 Japanese level. Daniel currently serves as the instructor and graduate assistant of the CAMP program.
