Biography

Cynthia Bartow is a dedicated professional with a strong background in administration, leadership, customer service, training, recruitment, and organizational development. She is passionate about helping others succeed and brings a people-centered approach to her work, emphasizing organization, collaboration, problem-solving, and compassionate support.

Originally from the Philippines, Cynthia moved to Las Cruces, New Mexico, in 2016. Growing up in a small town outside Manila, she experienced firsthand the challenges families can face when access to educational opportunities and resources is limited. Her parents’ dedication and sacrifices to ensure that she and her three siblings could attend and graduate from college shaped her strong belief in the value of education.

Today, Cynthia brings that same appreciation for education to her work with the College Assistance Migrant Program (CAMP) at New Mexico State University. She is committed to supporting students and families, helping create an environment where students feel welcomed, encouraged, and supported throughout their college journey.

As a Christian, Cynthia’s faith is an important part of who she is and guides her commitment to serving others with kindness, compassion, integrity, and purpose. She believes that even small acts of support and encouragement can make a lasting difference in someone’s life. Through her work, she hopes to be a dependable resource and contribute to the success and growth of the students and families CAMP serves.
